I'm starting this blog with one of my favorite photographs of all time, Black Diamond by Lars Raun. The photo was taken at The Royal Library in Copenhagen, Denmark. The marble-like texture of the sky, the intensely golden lights, and the surreal vanishing point all offer the viewer a perfect escape into the night.
